The Toys for Clay County Kids campaign, sponsored by the Allison Bristol VFW Post 6812, is actively seeking local children whose families need a little help from Santa this year. If you would like to register a child, please come to the John Corn building behind the Black & Gold Building in Hayesville TODAY (Fri, Dec 5, 2014) from 4-7PM or TOMORROW (Sat, Dec 6, 2014) from 4-7PM. Pick up for toys will be 4-7 PM on Friday, December 19, 2014 and 10AM-5PM on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Name, age, gender, parent or guardian name & phone number are required for registration.
Donating also presents a chance to give back to the community. The Allison Bristol VFW Post 6812 has placed donation boxes at local businesses in Hayesville, such as hardware stores, banks & Ingles. The boxes are for new unwrapped toys that are still in the original packaging.
Give back to the children of Clay County this holiday season and help to make Christmas a little brighter this year.
