Donations are accepted year round however there are a few guidelines the ACFB asks donors to follow. Bulk amounts of food are difficult for the food bank to accept since they require so much time to break down into individual servings. It is best if all donations are already in single or meal size servings. Individually wrapped items such as breakfast/granola bars, mac and cheese cups, canned tuna and fruit/jello/pudding cups are perfect for the ACFB’s Backpack Program.
Currently, The ACFB is in need of the following items:
· Plastic Grocery Bags
· Canned fruit
· Canned corn
· Peanut butter
· Boxed Cereal
· Dry Milk
· Oat meal
· Pancake mix
· Sugar and flower (5lb bags or smaller)
· Sliced Bread
· Canned Pinto Beans
· Toothpaste (any size, including travel)
· Feminine Products (Pad, Tampons)
· Body Lotion (any size, including travel)
