Thanks to all of you....It's a GO!

Good evening,

I want to thank all of you in the AR community who gave me their ideas, suggestions, and encouragement.  I committed to doing a seminar today and I couldn't have done it without all f your support.

On Saturday May 17th I will be holding my first seminar.  I would never have bet on this.  I've got everything lined up, now all I need is an audience.  Advertising starts 3 weeks ahead in our local newspaper, I also will be sending personal invitations to all of the homeowners who have either canceled their listings or have let their listings expire over the last 4 months (provided of course they have not re-listed already).  I was thinking of hand delivering as many of the invitations as possible, 2 weeks prior to the event, and then follow up with a mailing to those that have not responded 1 week prior.

We have seating for 45 people, so we will see.  I obviously have no idea what to expect from the RSVP request that will be in the advertising, invitations, and on my web site.  I have requested people RSVP because we are serving a lunch and I need a final count to give to the caterers ( hope I'm not eating leftovers for a month)

I will keep you all posted as this progresses.  Again thank you to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts with me on this endeavor.

Congrats and Way to Go!  It takes a lot of guts to do a seminar and that is great the encouragement here on AR helped you to go forward with it.  I hope it turns out to be a sold-out-show and you'll have to book another one by demand.  Good luck!
