In October, the number of properties that received a foreclosure filing in Greenville, NC was 38% lower than the previous month and 17% higher than the same time last year, according to RealtyTrac.com.

The current distribution of foreclosures based on the number of active foreclosure homes in Greenville, NC.

Auctions were 42.9% of the foreclosure activity in October, Pre-foreclosures were 38.1% and Bank-owned properties were 19.0%.

The number of Auctions increased 12.5% from the previous month and 200.0% from the previous year. Bank-owned properties remained the same as the previous month and dropped 73.3% from the previous year.
