Agents know this makes sense. Yet buyers continue to call listing agents hundreds or thousands of times every single day.

Sure, you say, but he's a buyer's agent. Of course he's going to say it's best to call him.

Well, look at one of the comments he received on his post from a listing agent backing up his premise:

Proof enough that agents know that buyers will fare better with their own agent representing them. There is nothing wrong with the listing agent getting a buyer to pay as much as possible for a house. That is what their client, the seller, hired them to do. Benjamin, it's always best for buyers to have their own agent representing them. After all, it doesn't cost them anything, and it could be a huge benefit.
