Do You Have a Themed Christmas Tree?
I wanted to share a couple of my trees. I used to just put certain colors but then chose all Angels one year or primarily Nutcrackers but since have 10 boxes of decorations. Every year I tend to go with a new theme. Last year it was a 'Kitchen Tree' and all the ornaments were either cookie shapes, or utensils, cups, gingerbread or just something to do with the kitchen.
As anyone who follows me regularly knows I am a nature lover so this year I decided to just buy new wilderness ornaments and not go through the boxes in storage plus use a 4 foot tree instead of my 10 foot one. I bought owls, bird nests, deer, moose, reindeers, bunnies, assorted birds, a few snowmen and one angel and to finish it off, I strung red/green plaid ribbon around it. I think it is adorable and wanted to share with you.
Here is a few I have done in the past years. This one below is a 'Gingerbread Tree'
Here is my 'Nutcracker Tree' I did for my daughter's room when she came home for the holidays one Christmas.
And last but not least is my 'Plaid Tree' which I did not get out this year but it is fun to look for plaid ornaments every year. Next year....
