BurgerFi opens in Anchorage Alaska

On Tuesday The Sears Mall in Anchorage Alaska opened a new restaurant by the name of BurgerFi which is short for Burgerfication and the founders hope that it reminds its diners of the heyday of the burger stands in America during the 1950's on 60's. For me the The sign over the door stated everything I needed to know: Natural Burgers, Fries, Dogs, Custard, Craft Beers and Wine. 

BurgerFication

BurgerFi is a Del-Ray Beach Florida company that serves range free, never frozen Angus Beef hamburgers that contain no hormones or antibiotics. Each burger can be topped with a wide selection of gourmet toppings so you can customize the burger exactly the way that you want, Burgerfication!   The menu doesnt stop there, BurgerFi also serves a Quinoa Vegi Burger, Kobe beef dogs, Hand cut French Fries, deserts and also carries beer and wine. . 

The restaurant is located in the revitalized section of The Sears Mall that also includes Steamdot, AT&T and The GCI store. The interior is very specious and includes plenty of seating for small or large parties. A unique feature is there are tables outside of the restaurant adding a patio style feel that features plenty of light due to the large windows. 

BurgerFi has a wide array of menu items to choose from I ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger which is stamped with a burned-in "BurgerFi" across the top of the bun and also added bacon. The fries are separate and I ordered the regular size which is almost enough for two people however; if that isn't enough you can order a bucket of fries . If you love options BurgerFi has that and more. The Topping for your fries include Salt & Vinegar, Parmesan and Herb, Hot Cajun, Cheese sauce and their special blend of Chili, you can even have chili, cheese fries. Once we ordered we were provided a buzzer Ala The Moose's tooth, Since it is a little loud and being located in the mall I thought that was a nice feature in case you needed to pay a bill or do some shopping, overall it had a comfortable and relaxed feel.

The Burger was quite good, if you have not tasted an all natural, range free burger
you are in for a treat! My burger was Juicy, grilled to perfection with a slight pink middle, it was piled high with toppings and lots of bacon, I feel the fries are worth a trip by themselves if you are a lover of the carbs as I am. The prices were a little on the high side, if you consider the quality of the ingredients I am sure we can all agree it's well worth it and I for one will gladly keep coming back. If you are looking for a Fresh alternative to the cacophony of burger joints located throughout Anchorage I highly suggest BurgerFi as a must try new restaurant that may quickly become one of your faves.
