Exploring the Beach and Harbor at Manele Bay

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

I read a comment this morning that basically said if you don't do things the way I would do them, then you are lazy. See, this is the thing, everybody has their own opinion or at least they probably should, and whatever works for a person is what works for them. One agent's laziness is another agent's efficiency. You don't have to follow the crowd and handle your business the same way as everybody else. You can break out, be a maverick. As long as you are not breaking laws or violating the Code of Ethics and you're successful at what you do, who is to say you are not doing things right? Nobody has that right.

There is no specific right way to be successful. Just follow the Golden Rule and do the best you can with what you've got. Be kind to other people. Put your client's interests first, and that will lead you where you need to go. In my case, it led me to Lanai. You can read more here about Hulopo'e Beach Park and Manele Harbor at Lanai, Hawaii, and see the photographs I shot yesterday. Aloha!

I guess you have not been lazy if you earned yourself a trip to Hawaii.

There is not right way to be successful for sure, but there is a difference between doing things right or not. Your point is well taken for sure.

Elizabeth, enjoy your time in Lanai. We were just in Maui this last summer. It was a first for our son and daughter, and a return for my wife and I, who were there 20 years ago on our honeymoon.

It doesn't matter how you do things, just that things get done.

Well said, Elizabeth. I agree with Joe Petrowsky statement.  There is no right way to be successful but there is a difference between doing things right, or not.

Enjoy your time in Lanai.

Success is an individual thing, based on what is important to an individual's life. There are folks who think money equates to success, but then still find they aren't happy.  For me, success is having enough free time to do things I enjoy. Travel is one of them.

If one learns to live with themselves first, success seems easier to come by.

I guess I'm not as black-and-white like most people, I am much more shades of gray, and I don't mean 50 of 'em. I disagree that there is only right and wrong.

There is that benefit to traveling solo.  My husband gets annoyed if I take a call while we're out to dinner, no less on vacation.

Glad you finding new sections of paradise, thanks to your game.  Funny how it's helping you explore the area.
