Just Stop Asking Me What I Think

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

I suppose you could chalk up my attitude to being grumpy but aren't you tired of businesses asking for your opinion, about what you think? They want to improve their service at your expense. I don't like being followed around, having to disclose my location to every Tom, Dick and Harry when I use an App, and being marketed to like a big ol' pile of faceless money.

This is why I like the islands. The solitude. OK, when I play Ingress, Google knows exactly where I am, and although I don't like it, it's a tradeoff for the game. There are times tradeoffs are worth it but most often they are not. I don't like surveys from emails or questionnaires or anything that continues to bug and poke and prod me after the sale is over. I don't think I'm alone with this attitude.

They must've been missing a decimal between the 3 and 2 because that is outrageous.

As for the surveys, I couldn't agree more.  I used to fill them out all the time with Petsmart.  Our local one has an issue of space at the entrance to the aisle where I find the food I buy.  I have told them in no fewer than ten surveys.  I gave up.  They clearly aren't reading my opinions or suggestions to the problem.

Elizabeth, I think there must have been gold in that makeup remover.

I must be like you because I never respond to surveys or questionnaires. To me, they are just asking for more information from you in order to continue to market more stuff to you.

Elizabeth, you are not alone with those thoughts. I don't fill out those questionnaires either. By the way, have you heard anything from M.M. yet? They just sent me a Christmas hat and scarf for my bottles.

Chris Ann Cleland That's what I thought. I thought certainly she meant $32.50. And when I told her I would pay $32 for a bottle of makeup remover, she happened to have one that was not in the Four Seasons Signature line.

Myrl: I tried soap and water, and using a washcloth, which rubbed my eyelids raw.

Nick: Not yet, nuttin, but I'm waiting anxiously!!!

I still fill them out on occasion but most go to the trash file.  How many times can you say the same thing?

Hi Elizabeth.  $325!! They must know that you were the #1 agent last month and could afford the top of the line.

If I like the service and the product, I'll be back.  If not, I won't.  That's what I think.  And, I especially hate those surveys that take 20 minutes to complete.  Not going to happen, with me.

I agree with Gabe Sanders , if it is a short one~ why not?

when I like a service, I'll tell them and everyone else  I like it. If the service was terrible, I'll tell everyone about that too:), no need to ask, lol.

I just bought a home gel nail kit and I just love it, everyone who is complementing my nails now, getting a little speech how much I love this product:)
