Staging your home for sale during the holidays!

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Real
suggests that you avoid using decorations that clash with your current Décor and use accessories that draw attention to special features of your home.   You should also make your home cozy by having the fire on the fireplace to help provide a warm and festive feeling.

Appeal to your buyer’s senses

  1. Sight – Make your home appealing to their eyes and use warm lighting.

  2. Sound – Play soft yet joyful & cheerful music that could make the buyers feel like singing along and help make the buyer feel joyful in your home.

  3. Touch – Fluffy towels, velvety Silk flowers or plants and soft pillow or throws may help appeal to their touch.

  4. Smell – Use natural essential oils in a diffuser – try spice cinnamon, orange and clove or you could simmer cider with orange slices and cinnamon and cloves for a festive pleasant scent.

  5. Make sure to make something that smells good like cookies or cider and share with your prospective buyers.

If you can get the prospective buyers to spend more time in your hoe they may feel more at home.

Taking a few extra steps staging your home during the hectic holidays just may get you to Sold sooner.
