The crops have been harvested and the fields will lay bare until the next growing season. The snow clad Catskill Mountains and even the sky gives every indication that winter is just around the corner.
This was the scene looking towards Budds Corner, Red Hook NY. This street has several farms and is always a place of much activity Some of the fresh produce you get in NYC originates here.

Michele it does. You get views which are usually hidden by trees covered with leaves.
Wayne there was a big storm the day before Thanksgiving and I am still cleaning up the broken branch, etc. I am hoping it won't snow again until January :}
I love the photos of New York that show it is much more than just traffic and tall buildings. SO pretty!
