Keeping It Simple For Christmas In Franklin TN
Clark Griswold I'm not! When I decorate the outside of our house for Christmas, I keep it very simple. No lights on the roof or up the trees, and no moving parts! While we enjoy driving the area and seeing those spectacular displays it doesn't quite work for us.
Our Cape Cod style house sits on five acres on a small country road. I use live garlands for all the decorations and I think they look great in the daytime as well as at night. We host a large Christmas party for our Sunday School small group and I know they appreciate the view as they make the drive up to our home in the country! BTW, yes, those are flowers, yellow pansies, that will grow all winter at the front of the house. I can't believe I'm saying this but a little dusting of snow would be nice!
