Ron, you can't really go wrong with chocolate coated pretzels. The best part is how easy is sounds to make them.

Dipped pretzels are my favorite and I have never tried to make them. I think that may change this year.

Ron, Pretzel coated with almond sounds wonderful. We got back late tonight and i will be back tomorrow for more comments. i am exhausted and my lap top would not cooperate this evening!

And if you beat the total crap out of some peppermint candies with a hammer and sprinkle the dust while the chocolate is not quite dry... extra yummyness.

My youngest daughter makes a variety of treats for holiday giving.  Your pretzel recipe sounds similar to what you describe.  They are delicious!

Oh my - that is something I could do!  I like the idea that Tammy Lankford shared about crushing up some candy canes and sprinkling that on top too!!  :)
