Can God and faith help you with your credit problems?

Today there is so much more talk in the financial business about God and faith.  So I wanted to ask the readers this question.   I think there are several areas we can talk about.  I don't think I am a preacher, so not much preaching here, just some evaluations.

First, I think when it comes to credit problems, sometimes the only things some people do is pray, or wish the negatives will go away.  It's always easier to ask for prayer about something then it is to ask someone how to overcome the problems.  Maybe there is something else going on, why people are not doing much.

Some people are embarrassed about their credit problems, whether it was their fault or unforseen life events.  This tends to make them shy away from addressing their problems.  Others may think that they will be judged harshly because they are a person of faith, and they think they are supposed to have it all together.  However sometimes when the head tells us silly things, it can stop us from taking a leap of faith, right?   When we look at people who have done things of faith, they really didn't care what people thought,  and they didn't let any obsticle get in their way.

Here is a big one we problably all encounter. I think people of faith over scrutinize people who they do business with.  How long can you talk, or email to convince them to trust in your business  services?  I am sure you get these kinds of people everyday.  Sure I know this  problem first hand, I was taken advantage of by a dishonest credit company, that's why I work for this honest company that does things right and that's why it is my top priority to provide honest services that work and are backed by a guarantee.  But even sometimes when you talk about this , people are still afraid.

Oh, I think I hit that one on the nail, FEAR - this is a big hinderance to faith isn't it.   I looked for a definition of fear and I found this "false evidence appearing real."  I like that, because that is really a good definition. Other times I think it is faith in the negative to be more powerful  than God is to protect.  For example when people fear snakes, they really are afraid about the snake hurting them.  They have more faith in the ability of the snake to hurt them right?  Instead they have to redirect that fear into faith in God to protect them.  Just an observation .

faith is something that is excercised every day.

I was writing this and looking at some faith articles, one I saw gave some other hinderences to faith.

Self doubt was one, and I think in this area sometimes people doubt themeselves from being able to get back on top of things.   Another one was lack of knowledge, and I thought this was a good one. This one was more about their lack of knowledge of God's abilities. But also lack of knowledge about something can prevent us from moving forward.  We want to make sure the facts are straight before we proceed, which is great and which is why I do what I do.

Of course there are many other hinderences to allowing God our using faith to help overcome finanical problems.

I think we all must remind ourselves to ask God to help, trust Him and use our faith (and actions) to start achieving some new successes in life and overcome our problems.

Sometimes it just takes a step not a leap of faith to accomplish something we are dreaming about.

I hope people reading this that are overcome with problems will really reach out and get the help they need to overcome their financial problems.
