As I view what has happened in America in the last decade or so, I feel the middle class got stuck between the Democommies and the Republinazis. Unfortuantely, because of the power of the parties (including the Tea Party), the middle class had no one looking out for their interests.  I don't know what can be done to restore the economic balance.  It seems elected officials are more loyal to their parties, than to the people.  And, it's also more about raising money for campaigns and re-elections!  The average citizen has little voice in their own country!

Myrl - I could not said it any better. Most people have already drank the "cool aid" and these days "Big Brother" is truly watching us. Getting elected is the top priority along with party loyalty. If you're rich, you can buy or lobby your way out of a mess and pay minimal taxes. If you are poor, you get food stamps and government assistance. If you have a home, pay your taxes and have a few extra dollars in the bank, you get to pay the bill. ...and they say Mexico is corrupt!?
