What day of week does your website get the most hits?

While reviewing the analytics of my website this morning I was intrigued by some of the results.

I reviewed my hits by day of the week to see which days are the busiest.  I ranked each month's top two busiest days and found that for some reason, Thursday is the go to day to my website.  Seven of the 12 months, it was on the top two days of the week.  1/3 of the time (4 months) it was the main day of the week and 1/4 of the time (3 months) it was second.  The chart below if from August 2014.

Tuesday was the second busiest day showing up with three top days of the months and two second place showings.

Monday only had one time at top spot.  Sunday had two second place rankings.

I was shocked at the results, but if I listen to my "customers", if I ever figured out how to work 5 days instead of seven, I should apparently take Sunday and Monday off.

Hi Jim, if you think about it, this does make sense based upon demands at the workplace and at home.   What days off...

A lot of people surf the internet at work since they have better bandwidth typically at work than at home.  I think you are correct about work loads.  Evening and weekend hits tend to be more mobile hits as people see my signs and pull my flyers out driving around.
