Commute times to JBLM are between 10 and 15 minutes. (Depending on traffic) It also is a short commute to Pacific Lutheran University and the DuPont Amazon Fulfillment Center.

Steilacoom is a incorporated city founded in 1854 and was the first incorporated town in Washington state. The population in 2010 census was 58,163. Steilacoom is a host community to JBLM (Joint Base Lewis-McChord). Commute times to JBLM are between 10 and 15 minutes. (Depending on traffic) Less than a mile from Chambers Bay; home of the 2015 US Open!
