Who Says I Don't Have The Christmas Spirit?
This should dispel any rumors that I don't have the Christmas Spirit this year or that I don't like to decorate. What you see in the photo was actually several years in the making - a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into it. I saved and nurtured the tree that is an outgrowth of the original tree that once stood there, but was destroyed by the April 27, 2011 tornadoes. I negotiated like a pro when purchasing that ornament (This is good since I negotiate for a living). The store wanted $2.96, but I talked them down to $1! Also, the bird bath came from my home in Woodstock, Illinois several years ago...this is appropriate because I'm expecting Charlie Brown's friend of the same name, "Woodstock" to show up anytime.
If there's still any doubt - I intend to write a strongly worded letter to the airlines about this!
