"The Life Of A Potential Buyer: What's Up With All These Questions?"

Have you ever called the number on a "for sale" sign? Man, what a hassle! Sometimes, after I get off the phone with potential buyers who are inquiring about one of our listings, I imagine them having this conversation with a friend:

“So, I was driving around Tulsa, just looking around for sale signs, when I came across a listing in the exact neighborhood I want to move to.  I immediately called their office, but was thrown off guard their random and personal questions.  What’s up with that? All I wanted was to see that house!  I don’t understand why they needed so much information from me.”

This kind of reaction is understandable. Since the average real estate agent talks to a mass amount of people everyday, we sometimes forget the formalities by jumping straight to, “will you be purchasing with cash or will you need financing?” . . . .
