We celebrated her Birthday tonight. She would have been 58. We were friends since we were 18. I sure miss my hang around friend.
Mom and I decided to continue the long standing tradition. Over the years we would frequently go out to lunch to celebrate her Birthday on Christmas Eve. Sometimes we would go a day or two early, but usually on the real date.
Outback was packed from 4PM on. I got a big kick out of the Happy Birthday Song performed by the Waitors for another patron. I got a bigger kick out of the Adele song that filled the restaurant because the CD was a final topic of conversation.
Happy Birthday, E. We thought a lot about you today. Mom had Salmon just like you always ordered! Merry Christmas, too.
