POSTAGE STAMP GOES UP AGAIN

Bought a bunch of forever stamps awhile back.  Like you said.... not much savings, but it's not like they will go to waste right???

 

 

I wonder what the cost to produce and distribute a 1 cent stamp is.  Silly, isn't it.  Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose!

Hey Barry I did hear about this and I do have a few "forever" stamps left. I think I'll grab up some more before the 12th. At the rate the postage is going up, it'll be 2 or 3 cents saved by the end of the year.

Thank goodness I just bought 100 Forever stamps today!  I only got them because that was what Costco had, otherwise I would have bought the 41 cent stamps as I had no idea postage was going up again. I wish they would hold off the increases until a few years and then raise it by 4 or 5 cents at a time. I have a whole bunch of stamps of different denominations hanging around. From now on, I will only get the Forever stamps unless I need to send a large number of envelopes at a time and know I can use them all up!

Barry - Good info...I use a lot of stamps, so I'll stock up on the Forever stamp.

I found out about this the other day when I went to the Post Office to buy stamps. I wanted to purchase a roll of 41 cent stamps and the Postal Clerk behind the counter told me about the "Forever Stamps". I though that was nice of her to tell me about them.
