Bird of Paradise, Longwood Gardens

 

Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is a wonderful wintertime travel destination because the very large conservatory is always full of beautiful plants and flowers.

Plan to spend several hours and enjoy lunch in the Cafe. This is mushroom country and the mushroom soup is always one of our favorites. And, you may wish to sample one of the craft beers brewed in Pennsylvania.
