What You May Find When Searching For Nemo

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

It seemed like a good idea to get a manicure a few days ago, but now that I'm looking at my nails I'm wondering why I bothered. You would think that it would be hard to chip a nail for a woman who does nothing more strenguous than lifting a glass of champagne while on vacation in Vanuatu, but somehow I manage. Not only have I chipped a few nails, but I scraped the top of one nail trying to protect my snorkel.

As I headed toward a dock yesterday, I could see heavy ropes hanging underneath, which didn't leave a lot of room for a snorkel to get through. Not wanting to cut off my air supply with my face in the water, I just reached up and moved the snorkel a little from a 90-degree relationship with the water to about a 45. Scraped my nail. Well, that was still better than taking my face out of the water.

I was on a mission -- to find Nemo.

Sounds like a costly Nemo to me. I think you should bring him home and have him mounted like a trophy!

Elizabeth I have had the same manicure issue but for a different reason. I enjoy them but do a lot of work with my hands so it pretty much can negate the cost and effort of getting one. Glad you at least were doing something enjoyable!

The last time I saw a dugong, I was a kid!  Near the Cliff House in San Francisco, they had Sutro's Museum and Baths.  They had a mummified dugong, that they kind of labeled a mermaid.  Sutro's was a fascinating place back in the day.  It had been built in 1896, and had a large indoor Victorian era swimming pool, among other things.  It burned down in 1966, and wasn't rebuilt.  You can still see the old footprints of the foundation should you visit the Cliff House however.

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® It was a siren song. Apt desciption!! I was really enamored.

Patricia Kennedy I thought the 12 days started on the 14th. Shows ya what I know. See, I learned something else knew. Guess I can say I am still celebrating the 12 days of Christmas when I don't come back home until January.

Hi Myrl: And I was recently the Sutro Baths when Adam and I visited Ocean Beach and walked up to the Cliff House. I had been wanting to see the fortune teller guy in the box, but he had been moved to Pier 39 or something.

So now I guess we can call you a mermaid for being in the water soooo long.  Swimming along side of (Nemo) AKA Bill was something to go down in the accomplished list

I would suspect swimming with a dugong would be a very acceptable alternative to spotting a clownfish (at least that's what I think Nemos are called).

James Dray I kid you not, when I woke up this morning the first thing I did was check my forehead in the mirror to see if I  had a permanent crease from the face mask, which lingered through all of yesterday. At least I'm not permanently disfigured.

Gabe Sanders I still haven't found Nemo and looked for him all morning yesterday.
