The Accidental Agent

By
Real Estate Agent 559072 643065

Well, here I am, (Traci Frasier) trying to write a blog post.....the problem is, I'm not much of a writer, actually, not a writer at all. Reading, that's the ticket for me. Give me a good book with a mystery, murder, and some romance, and I'm enthralled. It seems to be such an incredible thing to write, and so very intimidating, but enough about my love of books. Let's talk real estate. Now, that is something fun.

When flipping though the TV channels, it seems that my clicker goes to HGTV without hesitation. When on the computer, Pinterest holds my interest. Just driving around our beautiful town of Boerne is interesting. Going to friends houses and seeing what all they have done, that is way out fun. Really? Yes! That's why showing houses is so fun! I just love seeing everyone's different styles and ideas. But in doing that, it's also given me a few ideas of my own....much to my husband's dismay. I think Richmond gets nervous when I spend too much time “getting ideas”. But now when I look at a house, I can see it's potential!

Before I fully move into my encore career as a real estate agent, I plan to complete my career a elementary school nurse. What a pleasure it is! I get to put bandaids on cutie pies all day long. In addition, I'm off during the summer. Seems perfect to me. Substantial time off, and getting to show real estate with my husband in my free time. The thing is, we both have always had jobs where we are in a good position to help people, real estate allows us to continue to do that very thing. Help people find the property that is just right, or the house of their dreams.

So, what are your dreams?

Aw shucks, Traci, you let your thoughts flow from the heart to paper.  No more thinking "I don't like writing."

Your mind and heart are full, it has to spill out and overflow, so let it go...

The Hill Country Dream Team I love the pictures.  You're off to a great start so keep it coming. I dream of being able to take long vacations to see the world with my husband and kids when they are older.  They are only two now, so I have a little time to save up.

Welcome to AR. Until I noticed your 'points' I would have NEVER known you were a 'newbie'. I should write so well. And you are fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of Texas, the Hill Country. I know that area relatively well. Right there on I-10 just past San Antonio.

I have always loved looking at homes.  The problem was I couldn't buy one because of bad decisions earlier in my youth.  It made me want one even more! So I did the hard thing.  I started paying attention to my credit and fixed it over time.  Becoming a Real Estate Agent was my biggest dream, and here I am.  Working hard to help people reach their goals of home ownership!

I used to hate writing when I first started. It grows on you. It seems that you're a natural even though you don't think so. Welcome to the family.

Sometimes I'll have to stop looking at so many homes.  You end up wanting items from so many different places and you can't possibly obtain or recreate them all.

I don't think you're an accidental agent...I think you're a natural! And you're writing is great too! Best if luck to you as you close one career chapter and open another.
