The first several days at any resort are often best spent just getting acclimated. For me, that means crawling to the beach and staying there and later working up oneself to check out the pool. At this resort in Vanuatu, I have a pool on my deck, which overlooks the water, and a private path to my own little beach area, so I didn't have to move very far.
Around 6:25 PM when the sun finally sinks on the horizon, I was standing on my deck, sipping a glass of Shiraz and watching a boat from the resort return with passengers. Yeah, the sunset cruise. I had forgotten about it. I should do it. I made a reservation with Frederick for the following day. Except when I wandered down to the dock, I discovered nobody else had signed up. Which meant I got to enjoy a private cruise. It doesn't get any better than that!
You can read more and see photographs, one of which was shot by the captain of the catamaran, in my personal blog today at A Private Sunset Cruise in Vanuatu at Havannah Resort.
