Poor start in Naples Idaho this morning, or was it?

Poor start in Naples Idaho this morning, or was it?

I did snow removal last night when I got home to Naples Idaho.  Woke this morning to maybe another 3 to 4 inches.  Not too much, yet enough to be very troublesome if it warms up at all and cars drive on the damp snow.  Naples IdahoGot out the snow blower and moved pretty quickly.  Got to my car and wanted to move it so area around it would be cleaner.  This is when my Poor start in Naples Idaho could have begun.

My car would not start.  Nor did a couple quick tries at connections etc under the hood yield results for a quick vehicle repair.  For about 2 seconds I was upset.  Then immediately turned it around realizing how fortunate I was.  I could have been on Highway 95, pictured below, with Halley and had this problem while night was fast approaching as I headed home.

Highway 95 Sandpoint Idaho

This morning I was happy to have the car parked in front of my own home knowing Halley and I were both safe.  A cup of Mocha (yes bachelor style - lol) while working on the car.  After about an hour the car is running again and all is well.

I really don't know when I took this turn of attitude.  I do know, without doubt one, it is compliments of Real Estate.  The training, the seminars, working with some true professionals, everyday experiences as a Realtor in Sandpoint Idaho.

Yes today I was thankful for something that would have had me jumping up and down mad, in a past not too distant.  'Old Dogs' can learn new tricks. :~)

Hi Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint ,  I have had a few of those mornings myself.  A hot cup of coffee in the morning fixes everything. (and a battery charger)

Larry Johnston .  I am actually still laughing pretty good about the "repair".  Had every tool out there that was not meant for vehicle repair.  And that includes a hack saw along with a coca cola for cleaning parts.  lol  Mark

Not thankful my friend.  GRATEFUL  That is the culture of Keller Williams infused into your brain now.  You are living a State of Gratitude.  We apprepriate the positives and focus on them.  We leave the negatives for all the others.

Just look around and notice how many have already closed out 2014.  Not me.  We will close between 2 and 6 more deals this week/year.  Why?

Because we are grateful when people call us and they are not a bother because we want the week off.

Good evening Mark .. what a great attitude and you were lucky to have this happen if it had to happen at your own front door.  Glad you were home and safe and sound.

Belinda Spillman I believe you needed a break from the snow and we needed more than what we had.  All seems good.  Thank you.  Mark

Good morning Mark. I have a feeling that you will soon be sending some of that weather to the Northeast, but in the mean time we have had hardly any snow.

Make it a great week!

Don, Good story and it is a very good event that your car failed but at your own home. Sometimes its better to be lucky than good. Car problems are so maddening. All that snow looks nasty to me. I do not miss the snow or freezing rain one tiny bit!

And now we have the cold... One above here in Priest River last night and I'm feeling thankful that I went out yesterday and blanked my old horse. Also thankful for a full wood pile and a good stove.

There's always something to be thankful for!

Mark, isn't a good attitude fulfilling? It eases everything if you look for the positive. My sister had sent us a gift certificate to a store that I believe has chains of other stores. I had never been there before and really looked forward to going with Larry.

We got to the checkout, had numerous problems, people kept lining up behind us (so embarrassing) and they had to be sent away while management was called for various things INCLUDING the fact that the gift certificate was for a different type of store located about 4 hours from us! I kept thinking, this is all going to work out, and the manager did a variety of things, jumped through many hoops for us and voila! it all turned out very well! Ron & Alexandra Seigel sent me a bumper sticker long ago that says, Things are Always Working Out for Me and I have it on my dash in my truck...it's SO TRUE!

And, you didn't have to worry about your sweet Halley, either.

Mark,

There are days like that, and how you view them makes all the difference in the world.  I am glad that Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 alerted me to your post via her comment.  As a teen I like staying home from school on days like this...A
