Ocala Real Estate: Current Home Inventory And Resale Levels

By
Title Insurance with jump2top
The city of Ocala, along with the whole of Marion County at present, has a very high housing inventory level , which amounts to approximately a 12-month supply of homes. This present scenario is one of the major causes for the drastic price reductions in home prices.

There have been movements seen, however, which indicate a slowdown in the reduction of home prices. With the housing market here showing directions of hitting the bottom, and as the mortgage slump affects all aspects of the housing industry, real estate market observers are saying that now would be a good time to purchase new homes, as interest rates are still pegged at one of their lowest levels.

Current Home Construction Figures For Ocala

Based on current data provided by local property market veterans and county building officials, new construction rates are still slow at present; however, a number of property developers and builders are indicating that they will slowly pick up the pace and will continue to build homes this year.

Home builders here are still seen offering great incentives to buyers, which would include paying your entire first years HOA fees, taxes and insurance, closing costs, and some even offer buyers bonuses such as home appliances, lawn mowers, appliance upgrades and more. This move is indicative of being the perfect time to ponder on make a home purchase. In addition, new home builders have also drastically reduced pricing on inventory homes, in order to lessen the number of unsold home inventories these days.

Home Resales Statistics For The City

Home resales figures in the Ocala and Marion County have continued to see increased activity, particularly today that prices have slid even further. Many home sellers now seem to realize that the prices of 2005 are history, and if they will not be aggressive in pricing their homes, they may truly be wasting their time and investment. Each year, thousands of new residents are attracted to this area , lured by the region's healthy economy, excellent quality of life, diverse recreational activities, pristine environment, and the wide array of shopping opportunities.

The number of residents coming to this city, and county, makes it among the three fastest growing areas in the nation. The county's welcoming atmosphere makes transitions easy, and the wide array and affordability of housing options ensures that the types of homes here will suit every home buyer's preference, lifestyle and budgets.

Located 80 miles north of the Greater Orlando Metro area, Ocala is considered by many to be a wonderful place to live and call home. The county is famed for having lush rolling green fields, horse farms, wooded forests, lakes, springs and rivers.

For residents here, outdoor living is a daily activity for many, as the county is home to a host of fishing, boating and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Residents here also have easy access to top-notch medical facilities, shopping centers, industries, arts and culture venues, historical landmarks, and lots of parks and forest areas. It also has a lot of affordable housing options that offer a wide inventory of homes to choose from.

Total Logistics Solutions Releases its Inventory Booklet to Ike Disaster Victims

Burbank, CA - Sept 18, 2008 - Rene' Jones, founder and president of Total Logistics Solutions in Burbank, CA, a nationally recognized supply chain / logistics and commercial warehouse inventory management company. Announced today that his company will release its Inventory Booklet to homeowners who had their homes damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Ike.

"We realize that the best way for our organization to help homeowners get started on the right course after hurricane Ike and in the rebuilding process, is to make our tools available to the survivors," said Jones.  The user friendly inventory booklet, which is not normally available to the public, can prevent disaster victims from losing thousands of dollars on a substantial home or business insurance claim. Along with the booklet, homeowners will also get access to the online version of Cover Your Assets Inventory Software for 1 year for free, a $79.00 value. .

Jones knows quite well the pain of those suffering right now in Texas and Louisiana. In 2004, his home was destroyed by fire. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze, however all of his families' worldly belongings were destroyed, which left he and his wife in a state of confusion when they began trying to list everything they had lost in the fire for their insurance adjuster.  Jones' long and tedious process with his insurance company, and after only receiving 55% of his final claim, inspired him to want to help others through the inventory process by taking his organizations inventory knowledge from the warehouse and applying it to the living room.

CYA-Cover Your Assets is inventory software that allows a homeowner to record their homes contents or a business owner to record the fixed assets of their business. The desktop or online version of the software can be purchased at the company's website www.itstime2cya.com.

Mr. Jones went on to say, "We know our booklet and software are only tools to help with this devastating catastrophe. Our Inventory Specialist can help speed up the claims process so these home and business owners can get back on their feet and begin focusing on what is really important, their families." This is definitely the most sophisticated and user-friendly home inventory product on the U.S. market. Recently named one of the top products in 2007 by Money Magazine, the CYA software and Inventory Service is applicable for home and business owners which are preparing themselves for fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, theft, divorce, terrorism or in preparation for premature death for wills and trusts.

Or, the software and inventory booklet can serve as tools to help those individuals, that have lost all, remember what they had. "Our software has an intuitive database included that when combined with the inventory booklet will jog a person's memory and help them create the inventory they will need to provide to their insurance adjuster," said Jones. "Or, they can give us a call and schedule a "FREE" 30 minute telephone consultation to explain the process so they maximize their insurance claim."

Total Logistics Solutions will be working closely with large metropolitan cities, chambers of commerce and schools to help prepare citizens in case of disasters in their area.
