New Years Eve 2014 - or is it 2015? I guess since we celebrate the eve in 2014 we should announce it as such. Whatever and however you call it, it’s going to be a fun end to an eventful year!
Here are some of the highlights not to miss this New Years Eve in and around Palm Dessert California.
It might be cold and snowing in many parts of the country but at the Emerald Desert RV Resort you can celebrate the New Year's in style with a two night package, two tickets to the New Year's Eve party and a bottle of champagne. This goes fast and admission packages are $535 so get your reservation in early.
The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and spa is hosting and New Year's eve event with a dinner, party and masquerade party for the kids as well. Kick everything off with a fantastic New Year's Eve four course dinner with an optional wine pairing at Pinzimini. Enjoy a delicious four course dinner with optional wine pairing priced between $95 and $120. The New Years Eve party kicks off with small bites, a champagne toast at midnight, live entertainment and ball drop. Admission is just $30 per guest but those that purchase the four course dinner will receive their entry ticket into the party at no additional charge. This begins in the Oasis Ballroom at 9:00 PM. Also in the Fireside Lounge guests will enjoy holiday food and drink along with a live entertainment. Plus, the kids won't be left out at a very special Masquerade Party just for them. This will begin at 9:00 PM featuring DJs, games, crafts and more at the Oasis Den.
The fun doesn't end there; the next day enjoy a breakfast buffet with a Bloody Mary bar at the Pinsimini Restaurant.
Many restaurants will be offering special tasting menus and events throughout our area including those in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indio and La Quinta. Restaurants include the Adobe Grill with a live jazz bands and the ball drop simulcast; Arnold Palmer's restaurants featuring a three or four course dinner and party favors; the Catalan Mediterranean Cuisine featuring dancing, three-course menu and Flamenco Show.
At the Riverside Municipal Airport enjoy Wings of Valor beginning at 8:00 PM. This largest event of the year offers one of Southern California's top swing bands, an open bar all night, delicious food from a gourmet food trucks and of course, dancing the night away. Prices are from $70-$280 and guests are asked to come dressed in their World War II themed clothing and participate in a fashion contest to win a flight in the DC-3.
