2014 was a fantastic comeback year for the real estate industry! Interest rates stayed low and home prices climbed to numbers we have not seen in 5-7 years for the SW Missouri area. The Greater Springfield Board of Realtors became regionalized with most all SW Missouri multi-list boards giving agents and consumers access to more real estate.
As Murney Associates looks back on our company for 2014, we find so many wonderful events that took place that we are proud of. These are just a few examples of what a great year we had:

Murney Associates, added 41 new agents to our offices.

Two of Murney’s agents received top honors from GSBOR. Laura Daly was REALTOR of The Year and Andy Trussell Rookie of The Year. Many more of our agents received top honors as well for their real estate service.

Murney Associates was awarded top honors for “Best Real Estate Company, in Missouri” and “Best Real Estate Website” from Virgin Atlantic’s International Property Awards.

We own 31% of the local market share and we were for the 13th year in a row in the TOP 100 Independent real estate firms by America’s Top Power Broker’s magazine.

Happily became one of the top sponsors for Missouri State Bears Athletics.

Sponsored 2 great events for Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, “Hooked on Dance” and “ A Time To Share”. Between both over $758,000 was raised.

The Murney Home-peddlers once again did a fantastic job in the MS150 bike ride and raised $9,480

Christmas was a blast with the Santa Santa gift wrapping program for the Greene County Foster through the Ambassador’s for Children system. Murney Associates gift wrapped and distributed over 100 presents to the children.
