What I Did in 2014 to Improve My Business--What Should I Add in 2015?
I went paperless in 2014! :)
I put all 3 local MLS IDX feeds on one of my other IDX websites so now my buyers will see EVERY Lawrence KS property instead of just the ones listed on the Lawrence MLS (Kansas City and Topeka agents list Lawrence properties but most only list on their MLS--I list my sellers' listings on all three). :)
I switched from DocuSign (fee based) to DotLoop (FREE version) giving myself another small raise. :)
I took advantage of dozens of FREE webinars taking screen shots and ideas and putting them into play. :)
I continued the development of tracking where leads come from to isolate which marketing techniques are the best producers. :)
I set up a home office with 10 theater rocker/recliner chairs (no one has fallen asleep on me yet) with a 60" Samsung Smart TV to display properties, stats, comps, write up and review contracts with clients, etc. and for buyers and sellers in my FREE Home Buyer Workshops and FREE Home Seller Workshops. :)
I added a smaller 13" Mac Workbook Pro to take with me when traveling (just got back from my wife and I taking our 4 kids, their spouses, and the 11 grandkids to Maui--21 of us!!) to be lighter weight and smaller than my 15" Mac Workbook Pro that I use in my rocker/recliner in my home office. :)
I got a $439 per month raise by discontinuing Market Leader! :)
I continued to keep my 128 Gig iPad updated with the latest and best real estate apps adding Pocket Cloud (unfortunately on its way out in 2015), Skitch, and RPR Mobile to name a few that I use the most.
I upgraded to IDXBroker Platinum for my main IDX website. :)
I dropped Evernote subscription and just email everything to a FREE gmail address that is just as searchable as Evernote was and has tags and folders too. :)
I moved all my email to the cloud from laptop storage to allow access across devices. :)
I got a new iPhone 6 to stay current on technology upgrading from an iPhone 5. :)
I continued to pray that God would bless my business and provide for my family. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Results: Went from 44 transactions in 2013 to 54 transactions in 2014!
