Estrella is located in Phoenix's West Valley in Goodyear and is nestled in the Sierra Estrella Mountains providing a beautiful drive up into Estrella. This master-planned oasis in the desert provides a modern lifestyle with great local amenities. Once you are in Estrella you will see the two beautiful lakes, the community center and the scenic golf course. Estrella has numerous annual events, monthly socials and weekly club gatherings. Some clubs include tennis, pickleball, travel, photography and art. There's also the Lakeside Farmers Market that takes place every third Saturday of the month, October through April. Estrella also has 20 miles of trails and paths, as well as parks, playing fields, and playgrounds.
Estrella opened up a new visitor's center in 2020 called Casa Lucero. In addition to new home information, there is a bike and hike shop and a coffee shop called Cafe Bebida.
The Starpointe Residents Club is 24,400 sq feet! It features the StarSplash Water Park, a heated lap pool, a cafe, fitness and aerobic center, locker rooms, meeting rooms, and outdoor entertaining areas. There's even a youth club or Pre-schooner Club for the kids. The Yacht Club is located close by where you can enjoying sailing, paddle boating, kayaking, or canoeing on the lake.
Presidio's Residents Club is Estrella's newest residents club. With 18.500 square feet, the club offers a cafe, demonstration kitchen, great room with a fireplace, a sports lounge area, and a 3400 square-foot fitness facility. Outside the Presidio has a large patio overlooking a pool, a splash pad, sitting areas, an event lawn and a barbeque area.
The schools in Estrella are a part of the Liberty Elementary School District and the Buckeye Union High School District. The elementary schools, Estrella Mountain Elementary and Westar Elementary, as well as the high school, Estrella Foothills High are all located within the community. For the little ones that aren't old enough for kindergarten, Estrella offers two options, the Phoenix Children's Academy and Estrella Mountain Preschool.
Mountain Ranch Marketplace provides the residents with all the necessities for shopping. The Marketplace includes a Safeway, Walgreens, Chase Bank, Oasis Bagels, McDonald's, Papa Johns, Subway, Great Clips, and more! The original Elliot Market is still located right across the street for gas, convenience store items, and pizza. The City of Goodyear Police and Fire Departments also have a police and fire station located within Estrella.
Homes for sale range from the low $100's all the way up to custom $1,00,000+ desert estates. The four main neighborhoods are Mountain Ranch, Montecito, Lucero, and the Active Adult neighborhood called CantaMia. These four neighborhoods provide a wide away of homes to choose from. Estrella offers golf course lots as well as gated communities.
