Today I focused on cleaning and organizing a book case in my office. I cleaned, I threw things out, I started a pay it forward box for the Salvation Army, and I organized.
While doing this I was thrilled to find two items that mean the world to me ...
- The first is a small lavender filled cloth doll that my mother got me when she visited England and Scotland in 1980. It is still in the original package.
- The other item is a Christmas card and book from my brother. He died in 1997 from a malignant brain tumor.
Both of these items were on the top shelf and in behind some big notebooks.
I was so thrilled and thankful. It was like discovering family treasures for me.
