Day One and I'm already Distracted

I promised myself I would get back with the program this week.

I made it to the office early to do email and send out some things. Then I got to the gym and ran on the treadmill. All was working well. Then I called HER.

A lady in my Sunday School class was under the weather and I called to check on her. It seemed she was having trouble getting around the house and the medicine caused her to not want to eat. I offered to bring her some soup and she asked for some 7Up to settle her stomach.

Off to the Publix I go. Another call from the Deli area and we ended up with some Mac and Cheese, Banana pudding, fruit yogurt and the soup and soda from the original request.

Now to deliver the goods. This also meant heating and serving. How is it that it takes so long!

It was 3 something before I could shower and get to the office!

I skimmed the features page and read Lynn Friedman's January Blogging Challenge post.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed!

I had promised myself that if I started blogging again, I would not get sucked up in the points war!

OMGosh! This can't be happening again!

Hi Connie....we all have our distractions....some are family other friend focused..... it's all part of life.... I blog to make the phone ring and because it's relaxing for me...I use to think about the points....not any longer....

Connie, sometimes it's not feasible to participate in all of these contests. I know that I will have to be away later this month so the contest was not an option for me. Aside from that, I am a,lowi be myself the luxury to skip a day of posting here and there. Take your time to get back into the habit and do it on your terms. All the best for 2015!
