A new year means a whole new month of community events in Aurora, CO. There’s so much to do during the whole year it is interesting to look back at the year’s worth of blogs to see what remains consistent from year to year. As always we will be sure to include many localism posts throughout 2015, so that our readers always have an idea what is going on.
The Aurora Center for Active Adults will be having its first meeting of the year for its Aurora Commission for Seniors. This will be at 30 Del Mar Circle in Aurora starting promptly at 1:00pm. Dave Horvath will be leading the meeting and can be reached at 303-739-7942.
Tomorrow the various city council meetings will resume after the two week break for the holidays. The Council Chambers will host the Local Licensing Authority at 9:00am on Tuesday, January 6th. At 6:00pm the Lowry Room will host the Citizens Water Advisory Committee meeting. Greg Baker will be guest hosting this event and can be reached at 303-739-7081. Kathy Crouch will be hosting the Citizens Advisory Budget Committee meeting in the Ponderosa Room of the Municipal Center. Be sure to show up at 6:30pm and reach her at 303-739-7072 with any inquiries.
