Balmy Weather in Wisconsin, Many Staying Inside, but not Jack.

My friend Sr Deb posted this little graphic on Facebook last night to celebrate some nice seasonal weather blowing into our fine state.

Many schools closed down for the day, but not Stevens Point, and so Sally headed out early in the morning to her school.

My staff showed up for our early morning staff meeting even though I would have understood if Jesse had chosen not to make the trip across the state.

As he put it, sitting around drinking coffee and discussing projects sure beats trying to get equipment to work in the woods today.

We did have a few people fail to show for a church meeting at our house tonight, which was ok, as it was blowing pretty hard by that time.

And my friend Jack spent his day enjoying the outdoors and the cool blustery air, diving into snowbanks, dancing around in delight and refusing to come inside on the many occasions when the rest of the dogs came inside to warm up.

But eventually he did get tired of being outside by himself with only his snowbank for company and enjoyed a nap on my lap.

I suffered a bit of cognitive dissonance when I first looked at your map then I realized there are negative signs in front of those numbers!  LOL  Brrr...Jack has the right idea.

Bob, That is so funny. I was just in Wisconsin a little over a week ago and it was in the 40's. The day I left it dropped into the 20's. Now look at you all ; )

Glad it waited till I got out before it went Arctic.

Bob Crane I was in the Elkhart Lake area but one of my Sisters in-law lives in Plover so we have made that area several times. Next time we head to the part will have to try to hook up.

Jack looks pretty happy in the top photo.  He's probably been waiting for some nice big snowbanks to play in.
