Are you looking for a great trail run in the Golden, Colorado area? Grab your trail shoes and dial yourself up some expansive mountain and valley views, killer meadow vistas and a kick ass hill climb by visiting my "secret stash" favorite, the Gudy Gaskill/Beaver Brook combo. Just north of the Genesse Exit- Directions at : http://runuphillracing.com/GudyGaskil... on on I-70 is a beautiful trail run with many loop options. Consider this trail run difficult for a number of reasons, altitude, length (6-8 miles approx) and a tough climb at 3/4 of the way in. At the top of that climb is the Clear creek Overlook, a spectacular view and rest point before your final two miles back to the elementary school parking lot. Have fun , be safe and hydrate.
