Active Rainers made the Big Time!

I have been reading the Los Angeles Times ever since my college days in the 1990's. To me, it always represented high quality journalism and was an authoritative source for information. If a person was quoted in the LA Times, they knew what they were talking about.

Even though I no longer live in Los Angeles I still have the Sunday Paper delivered to my home every week. I love reading the Arts and Travel sections and of course, the Real Estate section.

So imagine my surprise and delight this morning when I grabbed the Real Estate section and started reading the Feature Story, Sellers may want to Take Things that Should Stay by Lew Sichelman. The story begins by mentioning Cindy Jones, a Real Estate Broker from Woodbridge, VA who wrote a post on Active Rain.com, "a social network where real estate professionals hash over numerous topics".

The article then goes on to mention other Active Rain members including; Lenn Harley, Tom White, Joan Whitebook and many others! Read the full article here Sellers may want to Take Things that Should Stay by Lew Sichelman.

Now, the whole World knows Active Rain is the "real, go-to" place for Real Estate.

That is awesome Jill, thanks for sharing! There are a lot of outlets out there checking out the rain as a real estate resource - I've had a few articles in local papers, and was interviewed by a reporter with Bloomberg, although the story never ran - news outlets are always looking for material, if we're writing good stuff, they'll get it out there for us!
