No Fair!!!!  It was gross and cold this morning here in Colorado but go figure its blue skies now.  You do have some wonderful choices out there.  My choice this morning was whether or not I wanted to drive on the icy street.  I chose NO!

Hi Anna - Yeah, your post is just oozing sympathy....not! But go ahead and gloat while you can - if nothing else, global warming climate change will balance the books soon enough.

Give us Arizonians some credit Anna. Suffering through last week's 50 degree weather was brutal but we made it through. 

With wind chill we were 5 degrees today. After spending our annual Christmas in Florida and 82 degrees we will be moving. Ready to come to Scottsdale at the end of February especially with the winter we are having.

I do not miss brutal winters. That may sound funny coming from a guy in Denver but the winters here may have snow but the melt off is fast and the scenery is beautiful. I will admit I am not in shorts or playing golf so that much is definitely a 1 up for you Phoenicians 

Early this morning I went swimming in a 90 degree pool, while the outdoor temperature of 39 degrees helped create misty dervishes in the air above.  While we weren't as warm as the Phoenicians, we did manage to hit about 62 degrees outside. Wonderful stuff!

Good evening Anna. Good for you. We are freezing our butts off! But then, that is the advantage of living in the far western corner of TN.

Sounds wonderful Anna.  As you know I'm in Florida right now, but I will be heading back home to NH in a couple days.  It's supposed to be minus 20 something there tomorrow and I'm not anxious to get there.

You are missing the change of seasons, raking leaves and plowing snow. Can not be much fun. Plus Chicago will never run out of water.

Anna-I would love your winters. I am not liking our temps for the next 2 days. Highs only in the 20;s and in the single digits tonite and teens tomorrow.

i love our winters.  Tonight we will see 40's and then right back to 70's tomorrow.  

Anna--It is STILL darn cold up here! Your photos of Arizona are making me think of moving south. We had a below zero high today...warming up tomorrow to single digits above. Yippee!!!

I think about this type of weather all summer long - LOL - it is what I live for!  I am never happier than when I have a chance to bring out the cold weather gear, load up the fireplace and hope for a foot of snow.  

Of course, I am the person who swears she has never slept better than in the 25 degree Ice Hotel in Quebec one winter a few years ago. 

I live in the deep south and it's stupid cold right now.  25 and dropping.  Ridiculous.  I keep telling myself... it will be warm again on Tuesday, it will be warm again on Tuesday.

Tough choices Anna, we are not stuck with either of those choices as we enjoy a nice blustery week up north.

With twelve degree temperatures right now in Northern Virginia, I must say, Phoenix is sounding like wonderland.

I miss living in Phoenix, especially at this time of year.  But come July... thanks, no thanks!

Hi Anna, I grew up in Buffalo NY, Martinsville, NJ and Pittsburgh, PA so I can sympathize with all those currently experiencing mother natures colder side. I don't think I could survive in any of those places today, I'm so spoiled!

Anna, I am sure your hunny is home by now. Gosh how I remember my corporate travel days ... airport delays ...

So glad I don't have to board plans for a living anymore.
