Honeywell’s Lyric Thermostat much like the Nest thermostat will adjust the home temperature depending on who is home by tracking you via your smart phone. They are now expanding that with smart home security system that can as well control lighting, shades and locks.
Keyless homes, Schlage’s newest lock uses Bluetooth technology to unlock doors. The system is designed to work with Apple’s HomeKit technology and the app even allows for management and scheduling of up to 30 different codes.
Whirlpool’s Interactive Kitchen of the Future 2.0 demonstrates the Internet connected kitchen with touch screen technology and wireless connection. Along with this a connected suite of appliances would all communicate with each other to inform the homeowner of kitchen activity, inventory and to turn on/off oven for ready cooked meals.
Sengled’s Intelligent LED lighting solutions incorporate Wi-Fi, security cameras and JBL speakers within the bulbs via wireless for greater home convenience which all can be controlled by a mobile app.
