I believe its very import to give thanks and show gratitude to others and to GOD. I have come a long way in this area of my life and definitely have a long way to go. I am reading Paula White's book "You're All That!" and here is a gratitude list that she hoped is part of what we thank God for daily.
- People who genuinely love you
- Work that is fulfilling to you
- Personal health and energy and strength - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual
- Ministry opportunities to bless others
- A safe home
- Friends who are trustworthy, loyal, and helpful, and with whom you can share both your laughter and your tears
- Adequate food, clothing, and shelter
- Finances that are sufficient to do what God has called you to do
- Freedom to speak, think, create, invest and build
- Freedom to worship and pray and trust God
- Inner peace, fortitude, and vision
WHAT A GREAT LIST
If you don't feel you have these don't worry! Still start saying them as an act faith that they will come into your life. Journal the list. Write down five things to be thankful for in the morning and five more and night and see how your life starts transforming! God Bless!
