The True You is Revealed Under Pressure

When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out –

because, that’s what’s inside. When you are

squeezed, what comes out is

what inside you.”

Wayne Dyer, Self – Self-Help Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The true you is revealed under pressure

Under pressure some people will go onto break records . . . . and achieve great things. While other people . . . . will break under the pressure.

Pressure can create a great deal of stress in person’s life. Each person reacts different to the pressure. How a person responds to the pressure will determine what course of action the person will take.

The person the can control the stress that the pressure creates will be able to respond to the pressure proactively . . . . They will stay in control of their emotions . . . . and respond to the condition with a purpose.

When a person becomes overwhelmed by the pressure they will act out of anxiety. They will become reactive to the pressure . . . . and will lose control of their emotions and the situation.

The person that can control their emotions controls the pressure effectively. In controlling your pressure the true you is revealed under pressure.

Good morning Lou.  My bride has always said, I am my best when under a lot of pressure.  I don't know about that but I do know I seem to get a lot more accomplished when under the gun.  Have a great Sunday.

Grace under pressure is an ideal to shoot for. Sometimes when the golf game goes horribly wrong it is amazing what you will see Lou.

(Hand up like Spock) Live long and prosper my friend. I don't blow a gasket often but when I do, it is by myself. Go for a walk or down hill ski or snow shoe, but take a break to stop the world and come back in with the best solutions. Personal stress is handled that way. Real estate is how can I help and just set the options, explain the why and navigate with what you have to keep a lid on it all. From boiling over. Problems not people attacked is the biggest skill a real estate professional can work toward a black belt status. Experience helps change the colors of the that belt to Darth Vader black. The force be with you LL. It is strong within you.

Boy Lou, this is for sure...I find the ones caught in a lie on a business deal have a hard time explaining it...the truth is so much easier to come out of one's mouth when the pressure is on.

Lou, it does take  A LOT of control on occasion, when times get tough, and negotiations are spirited.   The one who gets out of control, has NO control.

Lou Ludwig Correct statements from you in this post. I have seen so many just 'fold up' and stop dead in their tracks when the pressure is too much to bear.

Hi Lou - great post and we do have to consider what comes out of us when under pressure. Hopefully we are doing things to relieve stress and pressure - like exercise, go for a walk to help relieve it.

Absolutely agree.  I take on entirely too much stress and hold it in and if you are around when the pressure cooker blows, look out.
