WOW.  We rarely have them, occassionally on a basement home, but never on a home with a well vented crawl space and it's always been an expensive part of the inspection.  so again. WOW

Hi Ron -- radon tests are not common in my area.  I certainly hope it is an effective method given the very low cost.

Great information on the fact that the Wright County Human Services is selling radon test kits for only $3.00!  That's a smoking good deal! 

Ron, Good program and the testing kit is very reasonably priced. Radon gas as you indicated can be a serious issue depending on where you live. Here not so much but certainly up north a big issue and one to test for. I wonder what you have to do to rid your home of radon? 

This is a tremendous service that the county is offering to its citizens, and possibly buyers and sellers.  Nice to get the word out, Ron Marshall!

What a small price to pay to know if you have a radon problem or not. This is good public information Ron Marshall. 

When we suggest that buyers get radon test kits for our area, usually from an inspector, they cost about $20-$25 typically..  This is a very inexpensive way for home owners and potential home sellers to get a test kit for less than a latte!

That's a great community service for an affordable price.
