The market for homes for sale in Murrieta's Copper Canyon, which surrounds the excellent Cole Canyon Elementary, had almost twice as many homes for sale on the market than were actually sold within the prior 60 days. That is typically slowing of sales through winter here. This kind of market makes it less likely to have multiple offers on any given home coming onto the market, unless the home is priced at the far lower end of the price range for these homes. The Winter selling season was accompanied by the first snow in 10 years in Murrieta, including the neighborhood of Copper Canyon. We live about two miles away, and here is a picture of the snow-covered Murrieta (yes, those are yard gnomes near the pool):
