Spring Inspiration and Positive Views- Beautiful Sounds Singing Throughout The Trees

Sweet Sounds Singing In The Rain...

Chirp..Chirp..Chirp.. Spring is in the air. I have had a wonderful experience of being able to watch a Mother Robin have her babies and watch her attend to them.  What a wonderful mother she was.  I took pictures all the way through until they were learning to fly.  I hope this brings some smiles to some faces.  What more says Spring than the beautiful song birds singing throughout the trees.  And new life as it begins here on earth.

Here Is Momma Robin Watching Over Her Babies.  And I Think She Is Keeping An Eye On Me Also.

I live next to a nature reserve and this spring I've been fortunate to have a pair of nesting Osprey within sight.  They have been working with the youngsters over the last few weeks on flying and hunting.    I should have thought to take some pictures. DUH!

Hi Deb!  Actually they are still here.  I think they  must tell their friends because my trees are always full of song birds.  For the Robins, besides their regular bird seed I put out cut up apples on Sunday as a treat.  Sometimes they get sweet bread - whatever it takes to keep them around.  I saw one of the Robins the other day and you could tell it hadn't missed any meals.  I'm trying to captured a picture, but never around when you have a camera ready.  I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Thank you Jan.  My yard is full of birds.  In fact, I have another Robin that has built a nest on the ledge of my kitchen window.  I was surprised because there isn't much protection there other than the overhead.  I had to put some coverings up in the lower part of the window - it appears she was just a little skiddish or maybe the shawdows or noise bothered her.  Anyway, since then she is on her nest all the time.

I would love to have a view of a nest right out my window, not only for the beauty, but for the chance to teach my kids about how birds are feed and raised. Thanks for the family photos.

Your welcome Todd.  I hope your children enjoyed viewing the photos.  I have a trellis with climbing roses and every year she comes back and builds a nest there.  Last year she had 2 sets of babies out of the same nest which is very, very rare.  Lucky for me the trellis is in front of my Florida Room so I was able to sit and wait them out.  There were a lot of pictures I couldn't get because sometimes things just happen to fast.  But, I think I captured the story with the pictures.

Your welcome Jenniffer .  Yes, Sometimes I get so busy doing things on the computer that I forget that there is wonderful things going on outside us all around - We just need to take the time and enjoy it.

I'm glad it made you smile, Sondra.  I often look at it and think of how simple some of lifes most precious things are.  Every year as you watch you learn something new about how they go about building their nest or feeding their young.  It  amazing the things they do.

Oh my Cindy - I'm glad it is warmer weather so you won't need to use your fireplace.  I've noticed that when those babies get hungry they can be pretty loud, but luckily momma bird doesn't let them go on for very long.  At least that has been what I have seen.

During the Christmas holiday I had put a wreath on the front door that had a snowman inside of it.  So, when the holiday was over hubby wanted to take it down and I said no lets leave it up because it could still snow from now til late March, so we did.  Well, now I have baby sparrows in the top of the wreath.  There in such a location (at the top of the door) that I am unable to get photos of them.  About 3 days ago I started hearing this chirping and as the days has gone by it is getting louder, but momma is right there to quiet them quickly.  Although my front door is posted from the inside, "Do Not Use This Door Until Further Notice" hubby isn't to happy about having to use the garage door all the time.  Oh well, he seems to be ok with it.  Very tolerable.  But, I just didn't want the babies disturbed.

Thanks for your comments.
