Japan National High School Wrestling Team at Hood River Valley High School Jan 12, 2015
Today at 1:15pm, , at Hood River Valley High School, a Japanese National High School Wrestling team, will be competing in an international exhibition match. Over the last couple of days, our son, Sam, has hosted Takumi Sasaki, one of the Japanese wrestlers. Takumi helped Sam celebrate his 16th birthday and both spent time learning a bit about each other.
Takumi wrestles at 60 kilograms and is ranked second nationally in Japan.
Stop by the high school today to watch the Japanese team wrestle agains competitors from Hood River and The Dalles.
