Nightmare renters that leave "a few things" behind...

messy bathroom

messy house

Have you ever been faced with an overwhelming mess that smells worse than it looks?  There were so many clothes in the bathroom that we could not get the door to open when I first peeked in.

It appeared that some of the items had been in the same spot for many years.

I spent part of my Christmas cleaning up this mess. Today I am happy to report that the refrigerator has been emptied and was salvageable!

Clothes were laundered, all non-trash items and glassware cleaned to a sparkle and donated, which saved many "trash-out" dollars which will be used for repairs before listing the property.

I am keeping the pile of records to see if there are any rare albums which may interest a collector. Gotta love the perks!

David, what's worse it that it had to be stored for a month to give the renters a chance to retrieve the items before I could begin the task of cleaning up.

These photos show why a cleaning deposit is required, a landlord never knows what they kind of mess they will face after a renter moves.

Thanks for your comment! :)
