Why, Why Why?

Bill feela makes a great point.

We waste so much time re-doing stuff in our lives.

If we would slow down and do it right the first time, think of the extra time we would have.

Read Bill's blog and check out his sight here in the rain.

You won't be disappointed.

Why is there always time to do something a second time and never enough time to do it right the first time?

I hired a new contractor for a repair job.

He told me he was really busy but could fit my small job in.

When he was all done, there was a problem.   I could see a repair was not going to work as it was already coming apart.

I called the contractor and he came back.  "I thought this would work, and being busy, I thought I would give it a chance."

I think that many times we may all do this only to find we should have taken a little longer and done it right the first time.

Just something to think on.

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, you certainly don't have time to fix it later.  Isn't that how that saying goes?

Cut once, measure twice.

Nice reblog.  It does save so much time and energy just to do something right the first time.

Vern, I always try to do it right the first time. I learned this the hard way.

Profit from my two decades of experience

I agree, and from a profitability standpoint it cost more to due the job twice.
