These days it is commonplace for many to talk about intentions.
Thanks to the likes of Deepak, The Secret,
and hey, even Oprah, everyone and their mother is
jumping on the intention bandwagon.
What some may not know is that the power of intention,
is an age old law of the universe. And guess what, it really works.

This word, intention, while quite simple in definition,
has so much more packed into those 9 little letters,
and we as Realtors can use them to deliver success
for ourselves and for our clients.
When meeting with a seller or a buyer, what are our top priorities?
To listen… And to determine what it IS they want.
These are the first two steps,
and from there it is our next priority to DELIVER to them what they want!
Let’s talk now about how to use intentions when working with sellers.
First, put your delivery hat on.

Now ...
Imagine you are talking to your sellers and they say
“we want to sell our home quickly and for top dollar”.
Fantastic, so do I.
But now, let’s take it to the next level.
How quickly would you like it to sell?
How much would you like it to sell for?
Yes, these are real questions and most certainly have real answers.
Once you have determined the answers to these questions, do what Realtors do, and
get it in writing!
Yep, take out a piece of paper and draw a big SOLD
sign with the dollar amount and the number of days!

Get “crazy with it”, add some color, some pizzaz, did anyone say glitter glue??
Now, make copies. Bury one in the yard (a la St. Jospeh old school style), put one at your desk, have your clients put one at their desk, or better yet, in their cars where they will see it when they leave the home during showings (hint, hint).
Simply stated, plaster this SOLD sign anywhere that will encourage inspiration!
And now, sit back and relax (which we Realtors know means get busy marketing),
and enjoy the show!
You’ll be surprised, and so will your sellers, to find how easy this method of manifesting intention really is. Prepare to be AMAZED when a contract “quickly” flies in at “top dollar”!
