Good evening everyone-Many of you have been participating in a contest this month put on by Debbie Reynolds called Ringing and Singing in the Rain. Since I am more of a behind the scenes kind of gal. I didn't participate in the contest but had read several blogs from people who did. Well early evening EST I had a contact message from a fellow who I have come to know thru his blogs saying he wanted to call me so get ready for my phone to ring. Well since he didn't have the number he asked me to call him anytime.
I don't very often get told that someone is excited to talk to me especially when that someone is a fellow. Needless to say I was a nervous Nellie but since I have talked to 3 other fellows on the phone since 2009 from Active Rain, while nervous I wasn't about to ignore someone asking to talk to me. As with the other phone calls what I discovered is there is nothing to be nervous about because they are people just like me.
All the conversations I have had with both men and women have been wonderful and I feel very blessed to have gone from a online relationship with them to a phone call. I have met almost all the women I have had phone conversations with and one day I will meet them all in person as well as many others that I consider friends.
So tonite I am thankful for a truly wonderful conversation with a fellow whom I have come to admire and respect and have enjoyed getting to know him via his blogs. I am not sure how long the call lasted but it was a wonderful experience and one I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the things that really touched my heart was he asked about my broken toe and while the toe is better the effects on the back aren't. Well tonite my back will be part of a meditation session in Long Beach California. Kind of blows me away to say the least. So tonite I am thanking and thankful for my friend Jon Kolsky.
You put a smile on my face and brought a joy to my heart and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your friendship and for the honor and privilege of getting to talk to you. It will be something I will cherish always.
