I have today; that is all

By
Real Estate Agent with YourStories Realty Group MA# 9517963

I have today; that is all.  My today is what I have to work with. This today will make my tomorrow and provide me memories of my yesterday's.  Not taking my yesterday's into today allows me to build a new today which builds the new tomorrow.  Doing the best I can with my today gives me solace and provides Unleash the Power of your Agent, KCM me strength.

The days in real estate are varied and hectic.  Calls come in, requests are made while schedules must be kept, it can be chaotic.  It is easy to get lost with all the moving parts, get distracted, confused then dazed.  With goals in view it is a bit easier to remember where you are headed and today is the day to do some paddling in that direction.  Being in view of what you want makes it easier to remember where you want to go.

I have today: that is all.  And today I want to make as much progress towards the life I want to live as I can. When this day is over I

Unleash the Power of your Agent, KCM want to lie my head down knowing I made that progress.  The past does not rule my today's and yet it is always lurking.  It nibbles at the thoughts and attempts to misdirect.  It makes no sense to dwell in this past, it is gone.  Knowing where I am headed is wonderful, but knowing what to do today to get there is vital.

I am blessed to have the opportunity to help serve and build my community.  I am lucky to have found this way to serve.  I awake each day with the promise of doing all that I can with all that I have to make this a better neighborhood, community. To help those in need achieve their dreams.  When I do that I can feel good about today. Today is all I have, and that is all.

What a positive post for this morning.  Planning for the future is a great idea, but living for today is what keeps us grounded.

Kat Palmiotti Thank you, I like keeping my focus on what I can do right now. I major in the major activities and leave the minor ones for later. Have a great day and a great weekend.

Hi Larry Lawfer I've been thinking the same thoughts this week. It's so easy to fall into a "Why me?" or "What is this happening?". Much better not to try to an answer those questions and instead just focus on doing the very best we can do today with the G-d given talents and strengths that we have.

Evelyn Johnston I am pleased to share that this first half of the first month of the new year I have completed and more all the goals I am setting. The funny thing is I am just trying to do better today and the growth over the first 16 days is wonderful.  I am looking forward to the first 6 months results by focusing on today. Thanks for your comments.

Nina Rogoff You are right, the "why me" is just the wrong question.  I prefer the "why not me?"  Turns out whatever question you ask yourself you will look for that answer.  Let's ask better questions.

Bob Crane Thanks for stopping by. Let's make all our days the best one day at a time.
